Closet shopping

Well, I spent a good part of my early afternoon, reorganizing my side of the closet (Mark's side is tomorrow!).  I went through almost every item and tried them on and made a decision whether to keep or give away. I must have done well because I pulled at least 20 hangers out of there. I'm actually wearing pants that I haven't worn in 3+ years! This is an awesome feeling!

Closet shopping is a pretty cool thing. I will have to do it again, probably in about 2 weeks to see if the pants that I felt were too tight are okay or are they just the wrong cut for me no matter how much weight I lose? It should be fun. I know I'll have a heck of a lot more room in that closet as soon as I can shift down another size! Speaking of which, when that happens I will officially have to go out an buy a new wardrobe! All I have left are the size I'm wearing in my closet with the exception of 2 pairs of jeans I purchased from Old Navy just so I would have pants as I lose this weight, LOL.

All my formerly tight shirts now feel right. That just made my day.... that nasty roll of back fat (just under the bra!) is almost gone!  All my cute XL tshirts (I have a stack of those) from Old Navy are either to become pajama tops or be given away!

So this is the fun part of the weight loss. Of course, my mind is still not catching up to what I look like. I am not convinced when I look in the mirror that I look smaller but I know I am. Body dysmorphia is such a bizarre thing. I'm working on it though.....

Now my impatience is starting to rise because I do want to come down another size sooner rather than later! I want to be able to go shopping!!! Haha! Oh well, even when that day arrives I will have to show restraint because the curse of being on IP is that you don't stay the same size for long! I assume I'll be living in jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts for a little bit while I work on this project called me!
